I finally got to draw and paint something. Yes, it was referenced from Pinterest. Yes, it isn't original. But I'm just happy I had some time to make a little art piece.
My brother loves playing Dungeons & Dragons but I can't say I'm a huge fan. However, he recently introduced to me Force of Destiny Star Wars roleplaying games and I'll admit we've had fun. The picture is based on my Jedi Padawan character, Jaxi Mystan. The game takes place during the Clone Wars, my brothers favorite era in the Star Wars universe.
Anyway, I realize this is a bit random for me to post but I wanted to show some activity. I, also, had some time to post this while I wait for a project to export.

I have moved and am still in the process of unpacking and getting into a regular routine.
I have missed posting on Deviant Art and hope to start sharing some art projects in the near future.
Meanwhile, I edit videos full-time for a Non-Profit. I do graphics and animations as well.
Check out my other social media pages to stay in the loop of work I do.
Sometime this spring or summer I hope to post another journal with more news and more goals.
Meanwhile, I will continue to browse DeviantArt, send Llamas, and post comments on other user's works of art.

Goals for July - August

Goals for the remainder of the month of July and entirety of August:
Draw one portrait
Tune my Harp
Finish 1st draft of Fanfiction

That's it for now. I'm aware the rest of this month and the next will be jam packed with events and projects from my job so I can't get too sidetracked. But I will elaborate on the goals set, as well as this new idea for journaling.
1). Portrait- I'm back to my drawing portraits of smiling subjects. However they will be traditionally drawn instead of digitally.
2). Tune my Harp- It's still in its case. I haven't opened it in close to 5 months!
3). Ever heard of Warehouse 13- the TV show that had aired on the SyFy Channel for 5 seasons before being cancelled? Welp, my brother and I have outlined an entire episode that's to take place after the show ended. This is a good experience for me as its a break from work, quality bonding time with my little brother, and a good writing exercise.
At the end of next month I will post another journal entry that will feature my goals for September thru October. It will also include an overview of this month's goals, which ones I succeeded in and which ones I neglected to do.

Greetings! 
I'm so glad to be making another post and am happy to start making more art. But first, a little explanation as to why I've taken so long to post. That will be followed by a plan that I hope to commit to until a certain date. Also I'll share some news pertaining to my new job and some links you guys can check out if you're interested in checking out the work I do for a certain Non-profit Organization.
So the end of last year was very tough for me. I experienced many things including disappointment, being lied to, I was in and out of Urgent Care, I was in a car accident, I was very stressed and made a trip to the Emergency Room the day after Christmas. In addition to all this I had several friends and relatives dealing with health issues as well. It was a sour end to the year of 2017.
After the new year it seemed things were still going in a rough direction, but then a surprise came out of the blue. I was offered a temporary job out of state for 2 weeks with another offer for a full-time job right after the first offer. It was such a shock that I almost doubted it would ever happen. Then the end of February came and I moved back home to the state of Maine where I still am now.
Once I moved I was swamped with work and unpacking. I still haven't completely unpacked due to other belongings taking over my living space. It wasn't until this week that I unpacked just enough to feel relaxed and 99% settled. So now I would like to let you know my plans for my DeviantArt Page and what to expect from the future. I hope you will join me in looking forward to what comes next.
Webcomic/Story Artwork-
This is about what I call a 'Passion Project'. The great film director J.J.Abrams once said if an idea keeps coming back over a long time then it is worth pursuing. Taking that advice I am planning to bring together a story that has not left my head for a few years now. I'm going to dive deep into this project, in my spare time. I will share my research findings, my character designs, and perhaps someday I will share the story in its entirety. That's the dream.
Album Artwork-
Another 'Passion Project'. I already was blessed with the opportunity to record an album. It is not available anywhere because there were no original songs and, quite frankly, it wasn't done that well. However, it was a learning experience I look back on fondly and it has been on my heart to continue working on my singing and learn to play my harp. My dream is to have at least one more album added to my collection. I look forward to sharing the artwork I will make for the album as well as updates on the songs/process.
Arts & Crafts and/or Hobbies-
This is random, sporadic, work that I do when I can't work on the two previously mentioned projects due to location or time restraints. This might include daily doodles, videos, and/or updates on my professional job. I would like to share the work I do there as I'm very proud of it.

Starting the new month with a new Tea-Themed planner.

Monthly goals:
- Fill out Budget Tracker Weekly
- Packing up (getting ready to move)
- Visit gym bi-weekly
- Get car fixed (it's squeaking like a mouse)
